I'm a Christian, a husband, an aviator, a cook, and a maker. I also spend my working hours as a platform engineer at ArborXR. This site is a little of everything: life, work, and a few things worth sharing.

Aviation, faith, cooking, learning, nature, and 3D printing. The things that fill my time outside work.

Most people know me as Alex. My faith is the center of my life, and my wife and I call Houston home. Away from a keyboard I'm usually cooking, hiking, flying, or waiting on a 3D print.
Work-wise, I've spent over a decade in platform engineering. I graduated magna cum laude in Computer Science from UT San Antonio, and I've built infrastructure at Rackspace, JPMorgan Chase, Sysco, and now ArborXR. The full story is on the resume page.
